Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

  1. Temporary Bruising: Mild bruising at the injection site is common and usually resolves within a few days.
  2. Swelling: Some localized swelling may occur at the injection site, but it's typically temporary.
  3. Redness: The injection area might become slightly red for a short period.
  4. Headache: Mild headaches are reported in some cases, but they are generally short-lived.
  5. Eyelid Drooping: This occurs less frequently but can happen when Botox spreads beyond the targeted area.
  6. Allergic Reaction: Although rare, an allergic reaction to Botox can occur, resulting in symptoms like itching, rash, or difficulty breathing.
  7. Temporary Weakness or Drooping: In rare cases, nearby muscles can be affected, leading to temporary weakness or drooping in the surrounding areas. This is usually temporary, as Botox's effects wear off over time.
  8. Unintended Facial Expressions: If not properly administered, Botox might cause unintended changes in facial expressions, leading to a less natural appearance.

  1. Consultation: During this meeting, discuss your goals, medical history, any medications you're taking, allergies, and any previous cosmetic procedures you've had.
  2. Understand the Procedure: Your provider will explain the procedure, the expected results, and any potential risks or side effects. Make sure you understand what to expect.
  3. Discontinue Blood Thinners: If you're taking blood-thinning medications or supplements, your provider may ask you to stop them a few days before the procedure to reduce the risk of bruising.
  4. Avoid Alcohol: Avoid consuming alcohol for a few days before your treatment. Alcohol can thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising.
  5. No Aspirin or Anti-Inflammatory Drugs: These can also increase the risk of bruising, so avoid them for a few days prior to the procedure.
  6. Stay Hydrated: Proper hydration can help minimize the risk of bruising. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.
  7. Discuss Any Concerns: If you have specific concerns or questions about the procedure, anesthesia, or potential side effects, make sure to address them with your provider during the consultation.
  8. Follow Post-Treatment Instructions: Your provider will give you post-treatment care instructions. This typically includes avoiding rubbing the treated area, avoiding strenuous exercise for a day or two, and staying upright for several hours after the treatment.
  9. Set Realistic Expectations: Understand that Botox results are not immediate. It may take a few days to see the full effects, and results can vary.

Semaglutide is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs called glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs). It is primarily used in the management of type 2 diabetes, but it has also been investigated for its potential effects in other areas of health, including weight management and cardiovascular risk reduction.

Semaglutide is injected subcutaneously into the abdomen, upper arm or thigh once a week.

Semaglutide delays the stomach from emptying leading to a fullness feeling. It reduces sugar production in the liver, which lowers blood sugars in the body. Semaglutide also stimulates insulin secretion in the pancreas.

Reported side effects include: nausea, heartburn, gas, and constipation.
